We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Romy Thorpe as our new Chief Operating Officer (COO), a key step in delivering the next phase of our growth strategy at Spring Fibre.
Romy brings a wealth of experience in the telecoms industry, having held senior leadership roles at Vodafone, Cable & Wireless Worldwide (CWW), and Thus. Her impressive track record includes optimising service delivery and transforming customer experiences. Notably, she revitalised Vodafone Carrier Services in the UK, achieving remarkable results in just 18 months, and overhauled the operational and service aspects of CWW’s UK enterprise business, dramatically improving customer experience and reducing costs by 25%, which resulted in a 12% year-on-year gross margin organic growth.
Her appointment underscores our commitment to extending our network reach while maintaining a strong focus on performance and quality as we continue to bring ultrafast broadband to underserved areas of the country.
